Sega and Atlus confirm that the upcoming Gamescom will have demos of two highly anticipatedPersonagames,Persona 3 ReloadandPersona 5 Tactica, available to play at the event.Persona 3 Reloadis a remake of the 2006 original RPG, whilePersona 5 Tacticais a strategy RPG that once again stars the fan favorite Phantom Thieves in a new adventure that sees them transported into a new world.

Persona 5 Tacticawill be released later this November, while thePersona 3remake is slated for early 2024. With the release windows within a few months, Atlus has revealed when fans can try these twoPersonagames out for themselves: Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Gamescom is one of the largest gaming conventions in the world, with Sega presenting a demo forSonic Frontiersat the event last year. The Japanese publisher will be in attendance for the 2023 iteration as well with some of its upcoming releases, including the aforementionedPersonagames.

This was confirmed on both Sega’s and Atlus' official social media feeds. BothPersona 3 ReloadandPersona 5 Tacticawill be playable on the Gamescom show floor. This is the first time that these two games will be playable to the public, with players having the chance to try out thefeatures ofPersona 5 TacticaandPersona 3 Reload. The posts are vague about the content included, but based on past demos, they are likely to be timed, allowing players to try out a specific section of each game. These demos will be playable throughout the event on August 23-27, 2023.

Other upcoming releases that Sega will be featuring at the event will bethe co-op platformerSonic Superstars, theLike a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Namespin-off,Samba De Amigo: Party Central, and more. All the games featured at Gamescom are slated to coming out this year, or are already released titles that will give fans to try out to see if they’re worth purchasing.

A number ofpublishers and companies will be present at Gamescom, ranging from Indie game studios to AAA publishers like Nintendo and Ubisoft. Fans hope that thePersonademos seen at Gamescom will eventually become playable for free on the platforms it will be releasing on after the event, but no plans to that effect have actually been announced at the time of this writing.
