Much likeDoom,this rhythm shooteris rather difficult, but with the many weapons provided inBPM,things can get easy. Players should note that not all weapons are equal. The best weapons can help players keep the pressure low, and in turn, make things easier and more immersive.

5Revolver

This one-handed weapon is great for players to start off with. There are better ones available later, but at the start ofBPM,it’ll help players get through the hoards of enemies with ease, even without upgrades. The only downside to the revolver is that the bullets need to be reloaded individually, which can take a long time.

With medium damage and medium range, players don’t have to get in the way of danger. This can help them have breathing room, especially when the enemies are overwhelming. Since most guns inBPMare shot based on the rhythm, the revolver only needs a half beat per shot. This gives the gun a high fire rate, and with the balanced range and damage, players at the start can easily get through those early stages.

4Double Barrel Shotgun

This weapon is for players who want to play more aggressively, or who understand the meta ofBPMbetter than most. It has very high damage but limited range. Many underrated shootershave interesting mechanicsthat make them unique. ForBPM,it’s the rhythm, and one of the main tips for the game isstaying on beat.

This shotgun can help players maintain their rhythm because it’s only a shot per half beat. It’s quite fast and only needs two clicks to reload, which increases the time players will be shooting. Unlike the revolver, players can run into a bunch of enemies, take care of them thanks to the spread of the shotgun, run out, quickly reload and go right back into the fray. This alone can help players figure out the meta ofBPM,and allows them to get good early on.

3Energy Cannon

SinceDoomhas the BFG, one ofthe most outlandish gunsin the shooter genre, it makes sense thatBPMfollows suit. This comes in the form of the energy cannon, which acts likeDoom’sBFGbut brings its own flair to the mix. Having high damage and high range, the energy cannon is a great weapon for players to equalize themselves when facing hoards of enemies. This weapon shoots out energy that hits along the way; however, it doesn’t do much damage to enemies close by.

BPM’sdifficulty is similar toDoom’s,and much like the BFG, the energy cannon makes things a lot easier for players. There are trades offs though — players should note that this gun fires once per beat, so it’s in the middle of being a slow and quick-firing gun. With a clip size of three and reloading with three clicks, players should use this weapon with caution.

As players will notice, a lot ofBPMis borrowed fromDoom.SinceDoomis afast-paced shooter, players who have gone through that game may have an easy time playingBPM. The quad revolver helps maintain the chaos, but forces players to be more aggressive at the same time. The default revolver mentioned above is well-balanced; however, the quad revolver takes what they players learned from using that gun and makes it even more fluid.

Having high damage and short range, players can get up and close and personal with enemies and down them easily. Unlike the revolver, for which the player must individually reload bullets, the quad revolver just needs three clicks and the whole magazine comes back. This allows the player to fight and reload quickly, and with the high damage, they can be unstoppable even after the upgrades.

1Chaingun

The chaingun isn’t as good as the heavy weapons featured inBPM,but it does make things much easier. With damage being low and the range above average, players can use this weapon to create breathing room. The best part is the chaingun doesn’t follow the rhythm, so players can be versatile with it. However, as players start firing this gun, it does follow the beat, but the longer they have the trigger pressed, the faster it becomes, ultimately making its own rhythm.

The chaingun is best used to keep enemies at bay, which can help maintain the horde coming at the player. On top of that, the chaingun increasingly gets better. Tt holds 30 bullets, which may seem low; however, the compromise is that player can reload it with three clicks. As long as players can get space between them and the enemy to reposition themselves, the chaingun can turn the tide.
