Payday 3is finally becoming a reality, granting players searching forgames about pulling off heistsanother valid option. One of the most anticipated new co-op shooters of recent years, Starbreeze’s sequel is building upon the hype of a multiplayer game that has remained highly active for the best part of a decade, and there is a good chance thatPayday 2will continue to attract players even after its successor hits the market.

Like before, players will not only have to show off their combat skills but also pull off a perfectly planned and executed heist. This time, gamers will follow the Payday Gang’s adventures as they’re forced out of early retirement because of an unforeseen threat. While launching in Unreal Engine 4,Payday 3will eventually transition into UE5, which should come with a notable graphical upgrade.
RoboCop: Rogue Cityis promising to be one of thebestRoboCopgamesof all time, which is not saying too much in the grand scheme of things. Coming from the same studio behind the enjoyable but unspectacularTerminator: Resistance,Rogue City’s pre-release material has garnered a mixed reception so far, particularly its gameplay trailer. Reflecting its source material, RoboCop seems to move slowly and deliberately in the game, a creative decision that might be off-putting since it stands in contrast with the FPS genre’s typically fast pace.

RoboCop: Rogue Cityis set in a sci-fi-inspired version of Old Detroit where danger lurks around every corner. This game could be a great choice for people who loveretro action moviesand want to try a new adventure shooter that lets them experience one of their favorite universes in an immersive way.
Another year, anotherCall of Duty. And, like always,Modern Warfare 3will be one of the best-selling shooters of 2023, even if it might be challenged by the likes ofPayday 3andStarfield. Continuing Task 141’s saga, the2023 shooter gamefeatures Vladimir Makarov as its central villain, and there is hope that the single-player campaign will be high quality since this subseries has generally delivered in this area.

Obviously,Call of Duty’s longevity lies in its multiplayer, andModern Warfare 3will be no exception. The sequel’s online portion is built directly on its predecessor andWarzone’s foundations, including incorporating most of the same maps and weapons. As such, the game should launch with quite a lot of content since new material will certainly be included as well. Players can also look forward toModern Warfare 3’s Zombies Mode.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartlandlooks set to transport its players into a dystopian future, however, this time they will get to explore the mysterious rural town of Silver Creek instead of a big city. Thisfree-to-play new shooterdoesn’t have an official release date yet, but a 2023 release is not out of the cards.

During their adventures, players will have to fight for survival against other users at night as well as explore and complete various tasks and missions during the day. Players will be able to choose to play as Weapons Experts, Medics, and Survivalists, all three classes will have unique abilities to make sure each player finds the right class no matter what their playing style is.

Expected to launch into early access,Road to Vostokis a survival post-apocalyptic game that seems to take some inspiration fromS.T.A.L.K.E.R. Promising to deliver a sandbox split into various maps, the title will incorporate loot, trading, and crafting systems, along with dynamic events. An interesting idea is “Vostok” itself, as players will be able to enter this zone by crossing certain points of the world. In this area, permadeath is active, so it comes with huge danger. Presumably, Vostok will contain rewards that justify accepting the risk.
Although still in its early stages,Road to Vostokhas released a demo to provide players with an idea of what to expect in terms of the core gameplay. It is a pretty good sample too and well worth a download if the project sounds interesting to someone.
