Edward Kenway isn’t exactly a gentleman. After all, he prides himself onbecoming a pirate. However, his actions are not only guided by greed, but by love. Edward falls for Caroline and even joins their life as an Assassin due to the refusal of Caroline’s hand in his.

3Altair And Maria (Assassin’s Creed)
The first romance to blossom in theAssassin’s Creedseries comes from the very first game. Players are introduced to Altair, a youthful Assassin, who quickly falls for Maria, a member of the Templars. Relationships like this always play off each other very well, and the trope of enemies turned to lovers may be overextended in a few franchises, but that’s because it always works, when written well.
Altair and Maria share many exciting moments, and their “cat-and-mouse” game builds the romantic tension to unpalpable degrees. Their romance is completely natural and never forced, allowing players to find themselves in the joyful watch of Altair and Maria’s love.
