There’s little doubt thatBorderlands 3players are looking forward to the release of itsMax Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC, but it stands to reason that most players will be doing a typical run of the expansion, at least at first. Some players prefer a challenge or specific challenge runs, however, with YouTuber Senza recently taking upon an incredibly difficult challenge: beating the looter shooter threequel with a steering wheel controller.
Considering the fast pace with whichBorderlands 3thrusts players into combat, the difficulty can be imagined, but Senza confirms this saying that beating this game with this challenge was one of his most difficult yet. Senza took this challenge after 44,000 people voted in a poll for his next challenge, with 52% of the vote being cast for the steering wheel, 30% for beating it with only shield damage, 14% for beatingBorderlands 1with no guns, and 5% for other.

Senza was playing asFL4K the Beastmaster, who many arguably consider the best Vault Hunter inBorderlands 3, yet that did not make the challenge much easier. A death counter revealed that he died a total of 349 times while playing, with several bosses presenting a real challenge. For those interested in viewing Senza’s video where he beatsBorderlands 3with a steering wheel, clickhere. Ultimately, Senza managed to make his way to the final boss,Tyreen Calypso, otherwise known as Tyreen the Destroyer. Defeating her with the steering wheel proved to be plenty of a challenge, but he chose to do something special to finish her off. He pulled out one of the game’s early weapons, an NSFW weapon earned by shooting someone in the derriere, and technically beat the game with it and the steering wheel controller.
It’s far from the first challenge run in the gaming community, with one player beatingSekirowith DK bongos, so it’ll be interesting to see what comes next. Senza stated he would beat the game with an Nintendo Power Glove, but it remains to be seen if that happens.
Borderlands 3is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
