Over the past couple of weeks,Destiny 2hasreceived quite a few updates and changeswhich has no doubt altered the experience for all players. Through the sandbox update andForsakenexpansion, Bungie is looking to reignite that ritualistic style of gameplay that the firstDestinyevolved into over time pulling players back in day after day, week after week to work toward finishing content resets and pursuits. With how fast things come and go, some players have begun to realize that keeping track of everything can be a bit of a challenge.
Over on Reddit, players have begun requesting that Bungie add in a reset timer to help manage when certain types of content inDestiny 2will be reset. As it stands now, the game features a number of activities that that come and go at certain intervals. For example,Destiny 2resets its weekly content every Tuesday, the exotic merchant Xur appears on Friday and stays through the weekend, and some activities feature a daily challenge. Also, a lot of vendors offer bounties which can expire after 24 hours, or last an entire week.

Thankfully, it appears that Bungie is well aware of how confusing and difficult it can be to manage all of theselimited time activities. In response to the thread, Bungie community manager dmg04 offered hope to players by revealing that the studio is working on some sort of calendar players can utilize for some of the bigger in-game events. However, for the more individualized timers such as daily resets, dmg04 did mention that he’d pass the feedback along as there would be a big benefit for in-game functionality on the newly updated director.
Being able to keep tabs on certain times would no doubt help most Guardians, asForsakenand the recent overhaul 2.0 update have certainly introduced a lot of content for players to check out. In addition to the new loot to acquire and content to play through, it seems players are also expected to grind a bit for the new super abilities for each of the three character classes.
While Guardians get access to one of the three through a quest, the other two for each class need to essentially be unlocked through finding an extremelyrare item called a Seed of Light. ManyDestiny 2players may assume this will be handed out at each weekly reset, but some have discovered that the item potentially drops from participating in the end game Blind Well public event as well.
Destiny 2:Forsakenis available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
