This week,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis releasing a mini-update that includes a new playlist in multiplayer, Party Mode mosh pit. Smaller updates have been frequent within each new season of the title, often utilized to add new game modes, buff or nerf certain weapons, and add new purchasable items for players to collect in the Store. Unlike the larger season updates,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareonlyrequires a quick restart of the game for this week’s mini-update to install.
Following theSeason 4 Reloaded updatethat occurred just over two weeks ago, this mini-update gives players access to some fan-favorite multiplayer game modes. In addition, the update will feature two new 24/7 playlist modes, including one that is dedicated to season 4’s newest map,Cheshire Park.

One of the new playlists, Party Mode mosh pit, features a rotation of free-for-all style games that include One in the Chamber, Gun Game Reloaded, and All or Nothing. Many players will be fairly familiar with One in the Chamber and Gun Game Reloaded, especially after one of the game modes wasimproved earlier this year. All or Nothing makes it’sModern Warfaredebut in the Party Mode playlist and players can expect the same fast-action, high-intensity gameplay that the other two feature.
While all of games in the Party Mode mosh pit playlist are free-for-all style, players can still join up with a group of friends and compete against each other to be the best in the party. One in the Chamber is all about precision, where players start with one life and one bullet. Gun Game Reloaded will test versatility and skill with a broad mix of weapons, and All or Nothing involves tactical play where collecting the map’s loot is key. Party Mode offers a little bit of a new perspective for multiplayer, where players typically team up with their friends, and can now compete against each other.
In addition to Party Mode mosh pit, the mini-update features new 24/7 playlists that include Shoot House andModern Warfare’snewest map, Cheshire Park. Both 24/7 playlists are 8v8 style matches with a rotation of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Headquarters, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint game modes.
