Now thatModern Warfare’s Season 3 content has rolled out,Warzoneis seeing plenty of new updates as well. While most of these updates center around game modes and gameplay features, Infinity Ward is now adding a helpful new feature that should aid players in reporting cheaters.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis consistently being tweaked and updated by Infinity Ward in terms of adding new game modes and balance adjustments. However,Warzoneplayers are constantly finding new glitches that others are exploiting in order to give themselves an unfair advantage. What’s more is that most of these glitches and exploits within the game that have yet to be addressed by Infinity Ward. One recent glitch is allowing players withakimbo pistols to have infinite ammo.
Thankfully,Warzonedoes have a feature that allows players to report other players who are using these glitches and exploits to cheat matches. However, many players don’t go out of their way to report cheaters, as many feel there is no guarantee that the request is ever really seen or considered. Recently, players have begunturning offWarzonefeatures to avoid cheaters. Now, it seems Infinity Ward is addressing the communities worries and adding features to actively aid those who report cheating players.
The update comes from Infinity Ward’s official Twitter account, where an image was posted detailing the updated reporting features that will come to bothModern WarfareandWarzone. The standout update reads, “Starting this week: Players inWarzoneandModern Warfarewho report suspected cheaters will receive confirmation in-game when a player is banned.” This feature reassures players that their reports are being heard and actively evaluated. It’s worth noting thatInfinity Ward has banned over 70,000 cheatersinWarzoneworldwide.
The image also confirms that Infinity Ward is adding additional security measures, changing matchmaking to lump cheaters together, and is filling out internal teams to crack down on cheaters. Additionally, features will be added that allows players to report players during kill-cams and spectator modes. Naturally, this is a big quality of life update forWarzonewhich is bound to please many players. AsWarzonehas seen some updates this weekthere is a lot for players to look forward to.
