Call of Duty: WarzoneSeason 6 will kick off on September 29, and it’s bringing with it a slew of new content for fans to try. Activision has released a newCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 6 trailer highlighting all of the new content that will be available in the game when the update goes live at 2am ET, but fans will have plenty to look forward to a bit later on as well.

Confirmed at the end of theCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 6trailer, it appears as though the battle royale will be getting a horror-themed Halloween event starting October 20. All players have to go on is an image of a dark forest, a creepy laugh, and the tagline “The Haunting Begins.” We also know that it will be featured as a limited-time mode with exclusive rewards and will conclude on November 3. While more concrete details on what theWarzoneHalloween event will entail are scarce at the time of this writing, previous leaks have given fans a pretty good idea of what to expect.

The most likely scenario is that theWarzoneHalloween event will add zombies to the battle royale map.Warzonezombieshave been leaked numerous times before, and so it’s just a matter of time before they make their debut. According to the leaks, zombies inWarzonewill be enhanced by the poison gas, and there may even be a limited-time mode that lets players become one of the undead themselves. More information will likely become available closer to October 20.

Another highly likely possibility is that theWarzoneHalloween event will use a Night variant of Verdansk. AWarzonenight maphas been confirmed by the newWarzoneSeason 6 trailer, and it seems only naturally to include it as part of the Halloween event.

While theWarzoneHalloween event is still mostly a mystery, theWarzoneSeason 6 trailer was otherwise very eye-opening. Beginning September 29, players can look forward to a new vehicle type inWarzonein the form of an armored truck with a mounted turret. TheWarzoneSubway Stationswill also be opening up as promised, giving players a variety of new transportation options when they jump into the new update.

WarzoneSeason 6 is likely going to be the last seasonal update where the game is tied toModern Warfare. OnceBlack Ops Cold Warlaunches,Warzonewill be tied to that game instead, and it will be interesting to see how it evolves moving forward.
