The new DLC that is set to be released very soon which will not be adding any new killers, but it will add a new playable survivor for fans to try out. Hour of the Witch is a half chapter that makes up chapter 21.5 forDead by Daylight. The content update releases today, September 30, marking the beginning of spooky season.
The all-new survivor inDead by Daylight’sHour of the Witch is named Mikaela Reid, and she should be a fine addition to theDead by Daylightcharacter list. The last character introduced wasHellraiser’sPinhead, who was a killer, so adding a new survivor makes sense to balance out the roster. In addition, it seems that Mikaela Reid is likely a support class, as a tweet from the officialDead by DaylightTwitter account reads “She brings light and life to a realm of darkness and death”. Mikaela is the titular witch, and her perks all have a witchy ring to them. They include Clairvoyance, Boon: Circle of Healing, and Boon: Shadow Step, which will all add major boosts to players' hopes of survival.
A Great Game to Play at Halloween
Dead by Daylight’sHour of the Witch is launching right on time for Halloween, and will provide a boost for the game as it approaches a big time of the year in terms of active players.
