Season of the Seraph is finally live inDestiny 2, and players may don specialAssassin’s Creedarmor for their Guardians in collaboration with Ubisoft. The latestDestiny 2trailer shows off the newAssassin’s Creedarmor across all three classes before players obtain the new gear in the game.

Destiny 2is building up toward a major launch with theLightfallexpansion in early 2023. Guardians plundered the dark relics of Fallen pirates during Season of Plunder, advancing the main story further as the Vanguard’s forces grow to repel the impending threat of the Witness. Season of the Seraph has begun withHive War God Xivu Arathattempting to seize control of Rasputin’s Seraph network. Players must band together to protect these Seraphs and repel Hive forces, andAssassin’s Creedfans may don special armor to represent their favorite franchise at the same time.

Bungie and Ubisoft revealedAssassin’s Creedarmor ornaments are available to purchase from the Eververse store inDestiny 2. Warlocks may equip the signature Altair armor from the originalAssassin’s Creedtitle while Hunters and Titans may equip armor from Kassandra and Eivor, protagonists fromAssassin’s Creed OdysseyandAssassin’s Creed Valhallarespectively. Bungie’s newest trailer forDestiny 2shows off theAssassin’s Creedarmor as Guardians fight against the forces of darkness. As depicted in the trailer, players may equip additionalAssassin’s Creed-themed accessories in Season of the Seraph.

Destiny 2players may now acquireAssassin’s Creedaccessories for their Guardian such as a new ghost, sparrow, and ship. In addition, the new “Up my Sleeve” finisher is available at the Eververse store. The “Up my Sleeve” finisher mimics the iconic hidden blade assassination depicted throughout theAssassin’s Creedseries. Consequently, the Eververse store is filled with armor and accessories for the most dedicated ofAssassin’s Creedfans duringDestiny 2Season of the Seraph.

The Eververse store has been a source of criticism toward Bungie’s monetization practices in recent years, but the newAssassin’s Creedarmor is one case of paid cosmetics being a boon forDestiny 2. The newAssassin’s Creedgear may be enticing for players that also enjoy Ubisoft’s prolific franchise. Eventually, the gear may be obtained through the use of Bright Dust, which isDestiny 2’sfree in-game currency that’s acquired through normal progression. For example,Destiny 2’sFortnitecollaboration gearwas available to purchase with Bright Dust during Season of Plunder.

Season of the Seraph appears to be off to a great start inDestiny 2with incredible gear, weapons, and activities to pursue. The season ends when theDestiny 2 Lightfallexpansionlaunches on July 01, 2025.
