Although someDestiny 2players found a way to get more than 4% discount on the first day, the Tribute Hall Champion Bounties are only supposed to offer 4 Boons of Opulence per day in exchange for the 4% discount. However, oneDestiny 2player has discovered a trick that allows players to get 8% each day, as long as they have some time on their hands.
The key to thisDestiny 2Tribute Hall trick is to have at least two characters and to be active during the game’sdaily reset at 10 am PT. Essentially, the game will not confuse completed bounties and award a total of 8 Boons of Opulence in a day.
First, you want to login to aDestiny 2character prior to the reset. Go to the Tribute Hall and pick up the 4 Champion Bounties for that day. You can complete those Bounties at any point (before or after reset) but don’t turn them in until at least 10 am PT.
After turning in those bounties, head to theTribute Hallwith the 4 Boons of Opulence and collect 4 Tithes in exchange for a 4% discount on the Tribute price. Each day you are supposed to only be able to earn 4 Boons with a limit of 80% off of the price of Tributes.
Now you are free to log in to anotherDestiny 2character and complete the4 Champion Bounties available from the Visage of Calus. Once again you will get 4 Boons of Opulence and a 4% discount, totaling 8% for the day. Then, you can wait until the next reset and use the second character to pick up that day’s bounties and carry them over.
Obviously, this trick is not going to be for everyone, as it requires logging in before the reset and staying online through it. But those who do have two characters and are around during the reset will be able to take advantage for as long as this works. Presumably, Bungie won’t be fixing it, since it likely stems from the wayDestiny 2resets work across the game, not just for the Champion Bounties.
Getting 8% per day instead of 4% is a useful trick, though, since the end goal is to get to 80% off Tributes. At the cheaper rate, players can buy all of the Tributes that the Visage of Calus has in the Tribute Hall and acquire theBad Juju catalystsooner.
