Activision Blizzard recently releasedDiablo 2: Resurrectedand it has several improvements compared to the original release ofDiablo 2.Diablo 2’s Amazon has undergone several changes inResurrectedand a new modification allows players to corrupt their Amazon.
The Corrupted Amazon mod forDiablo 2: Resurrectedis available now and can be downloaded on Nexus Mods. The mod will alter the appearance of the Amazon and it’s just one of several that have been created forDiablo 2: Resurrecteddespite the game having released this past September. The ARPG will likely continue to receive strong mod support and although this one isn’t currently available through Battle.net, support is on the way.

The CorruptedAmazon inDiablo 2: Resurrectedappears to be decaying, with her usually tanned skin tone turned a ghostly and pale white. In addition to the corrupted Amazon, the Valkyrie can be downloaded with the mod as well, and she is covered in fissure-sized cracks that are visible between armor pieces. The mod’s creator Madonnagwen has confirmed that two players can download the mod and play together as the Corrupted Amazon or Valkyrie.
Although the Corrupted Amazon and Valkyrie aren’t available while playingDiablo 2: ResurrectedonBattle.net, Madonnagwen has confirmed that they’re working on tools to edit the HD model and texture. Once these changes are made,Diablo 2fans playing the official version ofResurrectedwill be able to play as the Corrupted Amazon and Valkyrie as well. OneDiablo 2: Resurrectedplayer has already confirmed their success in using the Corrupted Amazon mod and other players continue to download it.
Long-timeDiablo 2fans will be familiar with the enemy fromAct 1called Blood Raven. Blood Raven shares some similarities with the Corrupted Amazon, most notably the pale skin with cracks in it. Although Blood Raven’s armor adds even creepier details to the boss' aesthetic, the corrupted Amazon can equip whatever gear players come across.
to become the Corrupted Amazon inDiablo 2: Resurrected, players will have to unzip the mod file in the data folder of the PC version of the game. Madonnagwen has also recommended creating a shortcut for D2R.exe in addition to modifying the title of the file. After these two steps are completed,Diablo 2: Resurrectedplayers should be able to launch the game and play as the Corrupted Amazon or Valkyrie.
Considering players can equip anything that’s compatible with the Amazon to the Corrupted Amazon, they can decide whether or not they want the creepy look to extend toDiablo 2: Resurrected’s weapons and armor. With this mod,Diablo 2fans will be able to celebrate the month of October instyle as the Corrupted Amazon. It’s currently unclear if Madonnagwen and their team intend to make corrupted versions of the other characters onDiablo 2: Resurrected’s roster.
