A minion build isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind when players think ofDiablo 4’sDruidclass, but slaying demons with a posse of animal companions is surprisingly effective. Nothing shouts “nature’s fury” quite like a stormcaller surrounded by loyal beasts.

The following build is for level 50+ Druids who are just about to startDiablo 4’sendgame grind. It can carry itself well in overworld content andlow-tier Nightmare Dungeons, and players can farm relatively quickly with it as well. Here are all things needed to make this build work.

Ferocious Ravens
Almost every skill in this setup works in perfect unison with one another. Poison Creeper can damage targets in a wide area while simultaneously immobilizing them, triggering certain passive skills while also empowering the damage dealt by Wolves. Meanwhile, Ravens can inflict Vulnerable on demand while hurting every enemy in a small area.
Lightning Storm is a strong AOE Core Skillthat synergizes well with Companions. It can gain bonuses from theNatural Disasterpassive whenever Poison Creeper tangles enemies, and the increased crit chance against constrained targets feeds back into the Brutal Wolves upgrade, which increases the attack speed of the Wolves every time the player scores a crit.

Wolves cover for Lightning Storm’s weak single-target damage, and the rest of the abilities cover for the Wolves' lack of AOE.

Overload
All the passives here revolve around boosting Lightning Storm’s damage output while granting a bit of extra Spirit generation. As mentioned,Natural Disaster’sbonus to Lightning Storm will mostly be triggered by Poison Creeper and the Primal Lightning Storm upgrade.
Players will have to rely on Earthen Bulwark and gear stats to keep them alive since the build doesn’t use any Fortify-generating effects. Wolves do steal aggro from monsters, but they may not be enough when themob density is too thick. Also, Wolves can die in combat, but they will respawn after a short duration.
The Spirit Boons here are self-explanatory: Overload for more Lightning Damage, Scythe Talons for more crits, and Packleader for a chance to instantly reset Companion cooldowns.
Stampede
Edgemaster
ThisAspect setup focuseson boosting the damage of both companions and Lightning Storm. With the Edgemaster, Shepherd, and Stampede Aspects, players will get greatly increased Core Skill damage as long as all Wolves (now Werewolves thanks to Aspect of the Alpph) are alive.
Ghostwalker is essential for moving quickly with this build. It will grant a movement speed buff while Earthen Bulwark is active and for four seconds after it ends. Meanwhile, Might and Disobedience will give players some much-needed survivability.
As for gear, focus on getting Companion bonuses as well as the usual host of offensive and defensive stats (Critical Strike, Vulnerable damage, Core Skill damage, Armor, etc.).
Paragon Board
As always, insert the Exploit Glyph into the first board foreasy access to Vulnerable procs. Having this means players will be able to save the Ravens active for fights against anything that doesn’t die within the first three seconds of an engagement.
Thunderstruck, Heightened Malice, andConstricting Tendrilsall have great synergies with Lightning Storm that stock on top of the interactions between the three companions. Good Glyphs for these includeWilds(increased passive Companion damage),Fulminate(increased Lightning damage vs. Injured and Healthy), andSpirit(crits increase the damage enemies take).
Diablo 4is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
