As players deepen their bond with Vanellope byincreasing Friendshipthrough gifts and activities, they unlock new quests and accompany her in creative RPG-themed challenges throughout the valley. Here is a guide to complete her ultimate adventure, “Fungeons and Dragons” inDisney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Start the Quest “Fungeons and Dragons”
When players reachFriendship Level 10with Vanellope, the quest"Fungeons and Dragons"becomes available. At the end of her previous quest, “Boss Up,” the player received a Memory Map marking key locations in the valley. It turns out these are essential locations in this new quest.
How to Complete the Quest “Fungeons and Dragons”
Upon reachingFriendship Level 10, players can speak with Vanellope, who is concerned about something strange going on in her house. She believes it is linked tothe Memory Mapand asks the player to meet her inside her home. Upon visiting, players will find Vanellope has discovered a magical, locked treasure chest in her home. To open the chest and contain the treasure within, the player must complete Vanellope’s “Funquest” adventure, beginning the quest “Fungeons and Dragons.”
Begin the Funquest Adventure
In Vanellope’s Funquest game, the player is entrusted with the heroic task of overcoming the villainous Mastermind and securing keys to open the mystical chest. She presents the player with three different hero personas to choose from. The player can choose any archetype they’d like; there is no functional difference. However, they will be instructed to equip clothing matching an appropriate theme. For example, players who choose to play the part of the Noble are asked to put on an article of Elegant clothing.
Visit Remy’s Restaurant and Talk With Merlin
The first destination in Funquest isRemy’s Restaurant, referred to as the “Inn,” where players need to speak with a wizard. The player will initially need tospeak withMerlin; however, they’ll discover that in Vanellope’s narrative, it is Anna, not Merlin, who is playing the wizard’s role. The player then needs tospeak with Anna, found nearby, to continue the adventure.
Speak with Anna and Obtain the First Key
In Anna’s brief storytelling segment, the player is given choices to which they can respond as they please. Upon conclusion, Anna hands over the first out of three keys necessary to open the chest. After obtaining the first key, the player needs to go back to Vanellope to proceed with the adventure.
Travel to the Mystical Cave and Defeat the Guardian
The Funquest adventure continues in theMystical Cave on Dazzle Beach; a large cave that the player has likely visited fornumerous previous quests. At the very bottom level of the cave, players encounterOlaf, the guardian of the second key. After solving Olaf’s simple riddles, the player will receive the next key and should head back to Vanellope once more.

Prepare for the Battle with Mastermind
To retrieve the third and final key, the player must ready themselves to confront the sinister Mastermind. To prepare, they have to complete the following tasks:
Navigate Vitalys Mines and Face the Mastermind
Once fully equipped, the player needs to venture intoVitalys Minesin Sunlit Plateau, where the Mastermind reveals himself. The Mastermind challenges the player to make their way through the labyrinthian mines by breaking down doors and defeating enemies.
The doors and enemies are cardboard stands that have been strategically positioned in the pathways of the Mines. Doors and most enemies can be defeated using the Royal Pickaxe, but the fire elemental enemies can be dispatched only with theRoyal Watering Can. Enemies which have been defeated will, appropriately, drop Gold.
Deep within the mines, the player confronts aferocious dragonenemy. Despite its intimidating looks, it can be easily vanquished with the Pickaxe. With the dragon out of the way, the player can speak withPrincess Lightyear, who rewards the player with the final key. The player can return to Mastermind at the entrance to gloat about their victory, if they’d like, then return to Vanellope’s home.
Return to Vanellope and Claim the Treasure
Upon completion of the Funquest, a delighted Vanellope uses the keys to open the chest, rewarding the player with an assortment of cardboard enemy standees for indoor or outdoor display. She hands over theSugar Rush Racer, an iconic memento from a prior quest, concluding the “Fungeons and Dragons” quest inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
