How Pixar Fest Works
Pixar Fest is the first Star Path event inDisney Dreamlight Valley. It lasts for a little over a month and has a bunch of unique cosmetic rewards themed on various Pixar movies with a focus onThe Incredibles,Lightyear,Up, andCoco. Each event has a unique currency, which can be earned by completing Duties that are listed on the event page.
Event Duties
Right out of the gate,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will only have access to three Duties to earn currency for the event. Event Duties are very similar to the Duties players normally complete as they are playing the game. The biggest difference is that Event Duties require a lot more in order to complete. For example, while a normal Duty might require players to do simple things like sell or harvest five vegetables,an Event Duty (like the ones pictured above) will require more time-consuming endeavors, like harvesting 150 lettuce, or selling massive amounts of mealsor other similar resources.
A premium track is available that players can purchase for Moonstones, the eventual premium currency for whenDisney Dreamlight Valleyreleases out of Early Access and becomes Free-To-Play. Players whopurchased any version of the Founder’s Packwill already have some Moonstones to use for this event. Currently, it is the only thing that Moonstones can be used for (aside from using them to purchase more currency). Upon purchasing the premium track,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will get an additional three Duties to get more of the currency.

The amount of currency given upon completing a Duty isn’t particularly consistent. One Duty that takes longer to complete than another might award the same amount of currency, or it might award more (or possibly less).
What Sort of Rewards Come From Pixar Fest?
Rewards from this event include furniture that players can use to decorate both their house and the Village. Other items include costumes and decals that can beused when customizing clotheswith the Magic Tool.
Interestingly, some rewards include bonus Moonstones which can be saved and used for future events once Pixar Fest has ended. There are six pages of rewards, and only once enough rewards have been claimed on each page canDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers claim rewards on the next page.

What Events Will Be Next?
While Gameloft hasn’t given any confirmations on events beyond Pixar Fest, the amount of Moonstones provided in the Founder’s Edition suggests that there will be more similar events in the future. With a string of holidays just around the corner, it is very likely that there could be seasonal events inDisney Dreamlight Valleyat some pointduring Early Access and beyond.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
