In an instant, Dr DisRespect went from being one of the topTwitchstreamers in the world to being permanently banned from the platform. Dr DisRespect has said nothing about his ban publicly, and Twitch has only released vague statements on the matter, leaving much up to interpretation. Dr DisRespect has since reportedly lost his partnership with Discord as well, though fans of the streamer are still being left in the dark as to what exactly is going on.
Dr DisRespect’s last Twitch stream may reveal the time the streamer himself learned of whatever is happening that caused Twitch to permanently ban him. At the end of his last Twitch stream,Dr DisRespectappears to read a message on his phone and becomes upset. A little bit later on, he mutes his stream and appears to tell someone off-camera to give him some time. The video then ends with Dr DisRespect watching aRobloxvideo in silence, with a drawn look on his face.

Before abruptly ending his stream, Dr DisRespect says, “I appreciate everyone watching today. We’ll get through this, Champion’s Club. Life’s weird right now. We’ll get through this, okay? F***.”

At the time of this writing, no one really knowswhy Dr DisRespect was banned from Twitch. However, it’s been suggested by industry insiders that it may have to do with serious legal issues that the streamer has found himself in. For what it’s worth, Dr DisRespect was not named in the recent wave ofTwitch streamers and other online personalities being accused of sexual misconduct, so some have speculated that it may be due to another kind of legal issue.
Until Twitch, Dr DisRespect, or someone else close to the situation reveals more information, the speculation will continue. In the meantime, it’s worth pointing out that this isn’t the first time that Dr DisRespect has found himself removed from Twitch, though his previous suspension wasn’t permanent. As some may recall, theDr DisRespect E3 2019 incidentsaw the Twitch streamer disappear from the platform for about two weeks after he filmed inside of a public restroom.
