Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwere released amidst several critiques due to the reported issues with performance and graphics, as well as some technical problems that are causing visual bugs or even shiny-duplication glitches. Still, while the dust has yet to settle, many players are happy with the game’s incredible open world, which provides a lot of content in and of itself due to how exploration works and how frequentlyTera Raid battlesor solitary Tera Pokemon can be found in Paldea.Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Terastallization is also a big aspect of the game, as notable trainers and the main character alike can use this phenomenon to change their Pokemon’s type or make them stronger with a same-type Terastallization.
Great examples of how notable characters use Terastallization come from Academy teachers and, more importantly, from the various Gym Leaders in Paldea. In fact, every Gym Leader inPokemon Scarlet and Violethas access to Terastallization, which they all take advantage of to make their non-type-specific Pokemon share the same type of their Gym, instead. Because there isno level scaling inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, players can expect all Paldean Gym Leaders to always use the same team of critters regardless of levels, possible evolutions, and types.

Medali Gym - Larry, Normal-type Gym Leader
Pokemon Scarlet and Violetis an atypical set of games in the sense that they don’t feature four completely different members of the Elite Four, and Medali Gym’s Larry eventually joins the iconic group as a Flying-type trainer. During his time at the Medali Gym, Larry uses Normal-type Pokemon, includingPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Dudunsparce, the new cross-gen evolution for Dunsparce. The Medali Gym Leader uses the following Pokemon:
