This already seems like a solid number of side activities, but it’s possible that more have yet to be revealed. Returning Mini-Games
Longtime fans of theLike a Dragonseries will be happy to see that many classic mini-games from the series' past will be returning inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Series staples like Karaoke, Batting Cages, and UFO Catchers return alongside some ofYakuza: Like a Dragon’s mini-gameslike Survival Can Collection and Vocational School. There are also various returning tabletop and card games for players to dive into like Mahjong, Shogi, Black Jack, Oichi-Kabu, Koi-Koi, and Poker.
New Mini-Games
While it’s great that so many classic mini-games are returning, what’s more exciting is seeing the new ones thatLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthwill be introducing. From what has been shown of these new mini-games so far, it appears that Crazy Delivery will beLike a Dragon’s take onSega’s classic titleCrazy Taxi, and Sujimon Battle builds upon thePokemonparody mechanic introduced inYakuza: Like a Dragon. Players will also be able to find some other classic Sega titles available for play at arcades inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, including some titles new to the series likeVirtua Fighter 3,Sega Bass Fishing, andSpikeOut.
One of the game’s more light-hearted new mini-games, Miss Match, appears to allow Kasuga to utilize a dating app to try and find his perfect match in a dating sim-like experience. However, by far the most robust mini-game inLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthis the newDondoko Islandmode, which offers players anAnimal Crossing-like life sim experience where building an island and attracting tourists is the goal. Players will be able to participate in a wide range of activities on their island, including gathering and crafting materials to build their dream home, collecting bugs and fish, and even customizing the design of the entire island.
