Best Weapons For DPS Yanfei
Just like any other4-star character inGenshin Impact, Yanfei is overshadowed by almost all 5-star characters. Yet, if built right, she can operate as the main DPS in her team composition. For that to happen, it is important to use the right weapon on her.
Lost Prayer To The Sacred Winds
Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds is one of thebest Catalysts inGenshin Impact. The Catalyst works perfectly on any main DPS, enhancing the wielder’s Elemental DMG as long as the character remains on the field. Of course, the 33% Crit Rate massive addition gives players flexibility in building Yanfei’s artifacts, giving her more stats in her Crit DMG.
Skyward Atlas
Skyward Atlas is a weapon that gives raw power to its user and flexibility to play any role. As Yanfei will play as the Main DPS, she can easily utilize the weapon’s passive that gradually deals Physical DMG.
The Widsith
When playing Yanfei to trigger Melt or Vaporize, The Widsith isthe best 4-star Catalystshe can use, especially if it was on R5. No matter which song plays when Yanfei joins the field, it is going to insanely boost her damage. Even though The Widsith’s passive effect lasts for 10 seconds, the 55% Crit DMG is enough to carry Yanfei’s damage.
Solar Pearl
Solar Pearl is generally an amazing Catalyst inGenshin Impact. The weapon will boost Yanfei’s Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Burst.

Although Yanfei’s main feature is her Charged Attack, she still needs to use all the other abilities to boost her Charged Attacks. So all in all, Solar Pearl can still be useful with Yanfei, especially with the 27% Crit Rate addition.
Best Weapons For Support Yanfei
Yanfei can only operate as a Support when she gets her fourth Constellation. C4 Yanfei gets a powerful shield every time she uses her Burst. Being a Pyro character allows her to trigger the Pyro Resonance in her team composition, boosting the team’s ATK by 25%. She can also have 4-Noblesse Oblige for a further 20% ATK increase.
Thrilling Tales Of Dragon Slayers
Since Yanfei’s shield scale with her total HP, Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is the perfect choice for that game style. Not only that, theweapon has one of the best passives inGenshin impact, adding 48% ATK to the next character coming after. This means Yanfei grants that character a total of 93% ATK from all her other buffs combined.
Favonius Codex
As usual,Favonius weapons are great for any Support inGenshin Impact. The 45% Energy Recharge addition with the ability to grant Elemental Particles every few seconds is enough to help Yanfei fulfill her supportive role.
Prototype Amber
Prototype Amber is notthe best ForgeableGenshin Impactweaponfor Yanfei, yet, it can help her and her team in many aspects. Players should only use this Catalyst if there aren’t any Favonius or Thrilling Tales available. Prototype adds 41% HP to Yanfei, which can improve her shielding. It can regenerate her Energy to regain her Burst faster and slightly heal her team on each Burst.
