AGenshin Impactfan has redesigned the Elemental Burst animations for four popular characters, Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, and Nahida. These four characters are Archons who watch over their respective lands. At the moment, there are four playable Archons in the game, and Furina is expected to join the roster in the upcoming months.
EveryGenshin Impactcharacter has two special abilities in their kit, their Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill. Bursts are usually more powerful, but they also have a longer cooldown and consume elemental particles. Activating an Elemental Burst with a five-star character will trigger a special close-up animation.

A Reddit user named GyroGG has shared an interesting video in which they redesigned the way the Elemental Burst animations of the four Archons look in the game. Fans seem to like the updated animations as the post reached over 1.6k upvotes on the game’s official subreddit with many fans claiming thatVenti’s new Wind’s Grand Odeanimation is their favorite out of the four. The new sound effect is the biggest difference between the character’s original and the fan-made animation. The new one features a much louder wind sound and a subtle explosion at the end. One of the reasons why this animation stands out is the fact that Venti is probably the most outdated Archon in the game which does not come as a surprise considering he was released back in the game’s first update.
Zhongli’s updated animation puts much more emphasis on the explosion effect by completely changing the way it sounds. The animation also includes a camera shake effect which makes sense sincethe Geo Archon crushes his enemies with a real meteor. While some fans seem to like this change, others claim that it’s a bit over the top, and it would be much better if the whole effect was taken down a notch.
Many players seem to have similar opinions on Raiden Shogun’s burst which also includes a new explosion sound effect right after it’s activated. Out of the four, Raiden Shogun is considered the strongest Archon since she can fit almost anyteam composition inGenshin Impactand play multiple roles, from main DPS to support.
Nahida’s new burst seems to be the second best, at least according to the comment section. The updated one adds a much louder sound effect to Nahida’s Illusory Heart. This is one of the most unique Elemental Bursts in the game as itallows the Dendro Archon to create an enormous domethat provides different buffs depending on the elements it interacts with.
