A recent leak has givenGenshin Impactplayers a teaser of the voices forGenshin Impact’s two newest characters Nahida and Layla, which will be joining during Version 3.2. The upcoming launch of the RPG’s newest patch will bring with it one of the game’s most anticipated characters in Nahida. The Dendro Archon has already played an integral role in the story of the newly-added Sumeru region and is set to be apowerful addition to many players' Dendro teams. Now, players can hear Nahida’s in-game voicelines along with those of the completely new four-star character Layla.

Both Nahida and Layla are set to fill supportive roles in players' parties following their addition toGenshin Impactduring the coming patch. Nahida is believed to be a strong option for Dendro-focused teams with the Dendro Archon able to apply the element to several enemies quickly and benefit from different Elemental Reactions. Layla, on the other hand, will bring shields and off-screen Cryo damage for teams running Cryo-based setups with characters like Ayaka and Ganyu. The newest leak gives players their first listen to how each character’s in-game voicelines will sound.

A series of leaks fromGenshin Impactleaker Blank have revealed several of the in-game voicelines players can hear from both Nahida and Layla.Nahida’s voicelines feature the bright and cheeryvoiceover of Kimberley Anne Campbell, who players may recognize as the titular protagonist ofDon’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoroand the voice of Dawn inPokemon Masters. Blank’s leaks included several of the character’s voicelines talking about other members of the game’s cast as well, like Cyno and Tighnari. Character voiceovers can be heard both while roaming the in-game world, as well as through the game’s Character Menu.

The voiceover for the sleepy Akademiya student, Layla, is provided by Ashely Biski. Biski is a relatively new voice actor who has provided voice work for films like Russian sci-fi thrillerProject ‘Gemini’and a handful of video games. Layla’s voice drags with the character’s sleepy and lackadaisical nature, often yawning mid-sentence and trailing off with her thoughts.
