Mounts are a vital asset inHogwarts Legacyas they help players reach a desired location much quicker and will certainly facilitate the exploration process. It’s not surprising that some prefer to mount Beasts instead of a typical Broom, as riding a Beast has a different feel than a mere Broom.
The Protagonists have to complete a certain quest to unlock the flying mounts inHogwarts Legacyand another one to unlock the ground mount. Sadly, the latter is obtained late-game, so it will take a while before players get to ride a ground mount.

There are two Beasts that players can rescue and ride, which are the Hippogriff and the Thestral. The first flying mount people will get is Highwing the Hippogriff, obtainable after The High Keep quest. Afterward, it’s possible touse the Nab-Sack inHogwarts Legacyto rescue more flying mountsand breed them inside the Vivarium. As to their locations:
Ground Mount
There is only one ground mount, which is the Graphorn. While completing San Bakar’s Trial main quest, the Keeper admits that players will have to test their Magizoology skills to complete the trial. Once it was revealed that a Graphorn is crucial to complete the trial, the Protagonists try to find the Lord of the Shore.
After fighting the Graphorn using a variety of spells, choosingKneelorAttackwill yield the same results but with a different cutscene. Once players mount the Graphorn, it will become possible to travel on its back while also using its charge attack to defeat a group of enemies.Unlike Phoenix inHogwarts Legacy, It’s also possible to breed the Graphorn in the Room of Requirement.
