Players that want to step into the shoes of the Marvel superhero Iron Man will get to do exactly that with the release ofIron Man VRnext year. Indeed, this PlayStation 4 VR exclusive title looks to give players a chance to suit up as the much beloved hero, as can be seen in anewIron Man VRtrailer, and the game will be available on June 27, 2025. Furthermore, players that pre-orderIron Man VRwill receive several bonuses, and there is also a Digital Deluxe Edition that comes with even more additional content.
With respect to theIron Man VRpre-order bonuses, two have been revealed: four custom Armor Decos and anIron ManVRDynamic PS4 theme. The four customIron Man VRArmor Decos are listed as the Origin Armor, Vintage Armor, Silver Centurion Armor, and Ultraviolet Armor, and they can be seen below. TheseIron Man VRpre-order bonuses are available through all retailers, but those that chose to pre-purchase the game through the PlayStation Store will additionally receive a free month trial to Marvel Unlimited.

When it comes to theIron Man VRDigital Deluxe Edition, it offers several bonuses beyond what comes with the game’s Standard Edition. To begin, it includes four Deluxe Edition Armor Decos: the Golden Avenger, Black Centurion, Sun Stinger, and Stealth Armor. Additionally, theIron Man VRDigital Deluxe Edition grants players 12 Research Points, which will allow them to “unlock some weapons and augments early” when they start experiencingIron Man VRgameplayfirsthand.
TheIron Man VRDigital Deluxe Edition is rounded out with a Digital Deluxe Soundtrack and a Digital Deluxe Edition Iron Man PS4 Theme. This all comes at a cost of $49.99, which is only $10 more than theIron Man VRStandard Edition. That said, while the Standard Edition will be available both physically and digitally, theIron Man VRDigital Deluxe Edition only comes digitally.
To note, therelease date forMarvel’s Avengers, a highly anticipated game being published by Square Enix, is scheduled for just a few months after the launch ofIron Man VR. As such, 2020 is already shaping up to be standout year for fans of all things Marvel.
