No internet connection is required for playing couch co-opinIt Takes Two. So, players need to have the game downloaded and installed the first time around only. Once done, the steps to follow are:
One important but disappointing piece of information to note is that players cannot change the splitscreen inIt Takes Two, which means theycannot change the sides that May or Cody are on. If they wish to avoid uncomfortable viewing angles, they will have to move to a different area in the room they are playing in. Just like incouch co-op games, both players on PC cannot pick controllers or keyboard and mouse; they have to choose one or the other. It is also important to note that, while the host can choose any other person to play with, the player with the Friend’s Pass doesn’t have that option as they only have access to a free copy.
If neither player owns the game, they can still use the Friend’s Pass to play the first chapter as a trial run.
