Thereturn of the Red Room Takeovercontinues to rage on inMarvel’s Avengersand offer players a unique solo mode challenge to see how well they can dance around the techno lava and take down waves of enemies in the corrupted HARM Room. The event wraps up on July 22, but players who have finished the chain early can still find something to keep themselves busy thanks to the weekly rotation of content that just arrived.
To jump into this week’s pile of missions before they disappear next Thursday, heroes can login and head over to the map to queue up a mission. While on the map screen, they should take a moment to locate each of the Priority Missions and Challenges that appeared when week 46 kicked off Thursday morning. There are some decentrewards up for grabs and plenty of XP, so it doesn’t hurt to power through this content while completing other daily or event challenges along the way.

The week #46 content is now live and heroes have the opportunity to complete all the usual amount of low or high level priority challenges to claim some guaranteed item and XP rewards. Item rewards are very exciting for players who are still working towards max power level and the XP is a nice touch for everyonepowering through the Champion system, but might provide a little less motivation for maxed out heroes. It’s hard to complete the Red Room Challenge along the way since that is such a solo experience, so don’t plan on crossing off these tasks at the same time like some events allow for. That said, the rewards are still worth going out of the way for if players have some extra time…
The spotlight content this week is likely quite familiar at this point and the rotating challenges attempt to deliver new motivation to revisit those missionsthanks to those guaranteed rewards. The missions that are up for grabs this week offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to. Be sure to note of the modifiers listed before diving in head first. Experience heroes may already be familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems.

Mega Hive
“The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you’re able to run it again with new modifiers.”
Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.
