As players progress through the game’s story mode, and start honing in on their favoriteMortal Kombat 11characters, they are certain to become intimately familiar with the voice work behind these fighters. Indeed, there is a talented cast of veteran and novice actors lending their voices to NetherRealm Studios' newest fighting game.
The extent of these actors are outlined below, with brief details on their past experience included. To note, only voice actors that star as playable characters inMortal Kombat 11have been included in this list.

Ike Amadi (Shao Kahn)
Ike Amadi is no stranger to video game voice acting, and some of his most notable credits include entries in theCall of Duty,Fallout, andMass Effectseries.Mortal Kombat 11’s Shao Kahn, a bonus given to those that pre-ordered the game, is Amadi’s first time working within this classic fighting game franchise.
Troy Baker (Erron Black)
Troy Baker has been making headlines recently, due to an apparent misunderstanding about hisreprisal of the role of Rhys forBorderlands 3. Beyond his presence in theBorderlandsfranchise, he is highly experienced with giving voices to video game characters, including Joel fromThe Last of Us. He previously voiced Erron Black inMortal Kombat X.
JB Blanc (Kano)
JB Blanc has been lending his voice to video games consistently since 2003’sStar Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic. He has hundreds of credits, includingApex LegendsandMetro Exodusfrom this year, and this is his first time working on aMortal Kombatgame.
Steve Blum (Baraka & Sub-Zero)
Steve Blum is an extremely prolific voice actor with hundreds of credits to his name. In 2019 alone, Blum’s voice can be heard in games such asMetro Exodus,Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, andAce Combat 7: Skies Unknown, and he will be playing the role of Wolverine in the upcomingMarvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. He previously voicedSub-Zero inMortal Kombat Xand Baraka inMK Mobile.
Andrew Bowen (Johnny Cage)
Andrew Bowen is no stranger to theMortal Kombatseries, having voiced Johnny Cage, Rain, and Smoke inMortal Kombat X. While, to the certain dismay of some fans, Rain and Smoke have not returned forMortal Kombat 11, Bowen is back to reprise his role as Cage. Some fans may also remember him for his run on the fourth season ofMADtv.
Jonathan Cahill (Kabal)
Jonathan Cahill is something of a newcomer, and his role asKabal inMortal Kombat 11marks his first time being featured in a video game. Prior to that, Cahill acted in a number of shorts as well as several TV shows, includingCanvassing!andFiendish Things.
Sean Chiplock (Noob Saibot)
Sean Chiplock is solidly establishing himself in the world of video game voice acting, and he is featured in bothAce Combat 7: Skies UnknownandWargroovefrom this year. The highlight of Chiplock’s video game work is likely to be the various characters he voiced in theexceptionalThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including the Great Deku Tree. This is his first time appearing in aMortal Kombatgame.
Sara Cravens (Frost)
Compared to some of the other members ofMortal Kombat 11’s cast, Sara Cravens is relatively new to video game voice work, with her first credit coming in 2014. However, since then, she has already been featured in several notable titles, includingInjustice 2andGod of War, while also lending her voice to the subbed version of the popular anime seriesOne Punch Man.
Megalyn Echikunwoke (Jacqui Briggs)
Megalyn Echikunwoke is another relative newcomer to the realm of voice acting for games — her two preceding credits are forLego DC Super-VillainsandInjustice 2. That said, Echikunwoke has had recurring roles on a handful of TV shows, such as24,That ’70s Show, and the 2011 reboot of90210.
Richard Epcar (Raiden)
Richard Epcar has been the voice of Raiden since 2008’sMortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, withMortal Kombat 11marking his fifth time in the role. This is certainly not the extent of his voice work, though, as Epcar has over 400 credits to his name. Among these credits are his voice acting as the Joker inInjustice: Gods Among UsandInjustice 2, which may mean that Epcar’s voice will be featured yet again in this new fighter, assuming the recentMortal Kombat 11DLC leakis accurate.
