While Nintendo Switch owners wait for those big games to drop, they may want to take a look at a highly-rated Switch exclusive that has flown under the radar. This gives it more of a gameplay hook than other visual novels are known to do, and it seems reviewers have responded well to it. It’s quite possible the rating will go down as more reviews are counted, but for now,Jack Jeannecan be touted as one of the highest-rated new game releases of the year.
Jack Jeanne’s incredible success with critics means that the Nintendo Switch currently has five of the 10 highest-rated new releases of the year. The aforementionedZelda: Tears of the KingdomandMetroid Prime Remasteredare leading the pack, followed byJack Jeannein third place. PuzzlerTents and Treesand theXenoblade Chronicles 3DLC Future Redeemedalso make the top 10 with a 92 and 90 rating, respectively.
There’s no denying that the Nintendo Switch has had an incredible 2023, but it’s worth pointing out that some of the biggest new releases of the year are not available to play on Nintendo’s home console/handheld hybrid. This includes gameslike theResident Evil 4remake,Street Fighter 6,Final Fantasy 16, andDiablo 4.
