The Rocks Pirates were the most powerful and notorious pirate crew of their time. The crew was formed many years ago on Hachinosu. The Rocks Pirates terrorized the world with their strength, and they didn’t spare anyone who tried to interfere with their goals.

The crew was led by the ruthless, Rocks D. Xebec, who was considered a major threat by the Marines. They feared him so much that they were willing to join hands with the Roger Pirates, another infamous pirate crew inOne Piece, to take him down. The Rocks Pirates were eventually defeated in the God Valley Incident, which took place 38 years prior to the current timeline ofOne Piece. Following the events of God Valley, the crew disbanded and everyone went their separate ways. Almost every member of the Rocks Pirates gained fame and power, but some were much better than the others.
9Silver Axe
Silver Axe is the least famous member of the Rocks Pirates. There is almost no information available about Silver Axe except for the fact that they were a part of Rocks' crew. Unlike the members of the Rocks Pirates, not a single detail about them has been revealed.
It is possible that Oda has big plans for them, or maybe they just don’t have relevance to the story anymore. As there is no concrete evidence about their strength, Silver Axe is ranked the lowest.
8Captain John
Captain John was introduced in the Thriller Bark arc, albeit only as a zombie, so it is possible to measure his true strength. Prior to his death, he was renowned for collecting the most valuable treasures in the world, which he would then store inside a cave.

He accumulated a great deal of treasure, but when his crewmates asked for their share, he refused. This caused them to turn on him and stab him to death. The treasure that he left behind has yet to be found by anyone.
7Wang Zhi
Wang Zhi is theformer ruler of Hachinosuand a member of the Rocks Pirates. After being defeated by the alliance of the Marines and the Roger Pirates, Wang Zhi separated from the crew. At some point, they came to Hachinosu and began ruling the island.
Eventually, they were ousted by Blackbeard during the Rocky Port Incident, with some help from Captain Koby. Wang Zhi’s current whereabouts remain unknown, but it is very likely that they are still alive.
6Miss Buckingham Stussy
Miss Buckingham Stussy is the latest character to be revealed as a member of the infamous Rocks Pirates. There is very little information available about her except for the fact that she looked like Stussy. Many people have speculated that Miss Buckingham Stussy might actually be Buckin, the self-proclaimed lover of Whitebeard.
It would make sense, considering Buckin has been confirmed to have been a pirate in her younger days. This also supports her claim of being the lover of Whitebeard, as both of them would have been part of the same crew.
5Kaido
Kaido joined the Rocks Pirates when he was just 15 years old. In a flashback, a young Whitebeard was seen telling Kaido about Rocks' interest in the young fighter. Kaido accepted the opportunity to meet Rocks, who convinced him to join the crew. The young fighter continued to sail with them until their fight at God Valley.

During the fight, Kaido deserted the crew, much to the disdain of Charlotte Linlin. Many years after the incident, Kaido started his own crew and gained the title of “Strongest Creature in the World.”
4Charlotte Linlin
Charlotte Linlin started her own crew after the events of Elbaf. However, she placed it on hold and joined the Rocks Pirates at the age of 24. She was involved in the God Valley Incident, and following their defeat, she immediately went back and began working on her crew.
Linlin was not so fond of Xebec, and she openly expressed her frustration to Kaido, who joined the crew as an apprentice. She was also responsible for giving Kaidothe Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, which is why the latter was in her debt.
3Shiki
Shiki is the captain of the Golden Lion Pirates and one ofthe greatest pirates of all time. He has yet to make an appearance in the current timeline, and most of his appearances in the story have been in flashbacks, but there is a strong possibility that his involvement isn’t far away.
He led a pirate armada against the Roger Pirates during the Edd War, and he ended up losing all the ships due to bad weather. After hearing about Roger’s arrest, Shiki made his way to Marineford, where he almost destroyed the island and severely injured Monkey D. Garp.
2Edward Newgate
Edward Newgate, also known as Whitebeard, used to be a member of the Rocks Pirates. It is unknown when he joined the crew, but he was present during the God Valley Incident. After the crew parted ways, Whitebeardfounded the Whitebeard Piratesand became one of the Yonko.
Given the fact that Whitebeard went on to become the “Strongest Man in the World,” it is plausible to assume that he was second only to his captain, Rocks, in terms of strength. He is also the only man to ever rival Roger, apart from Xebec.
1Rocks D. Xebec
Rocks D. Xebec was the captain of the Rocks Pirates and obviously the strongest member of the crew. He was an ambitious man who wanted to become the King of the World. To achieve his goal, Rocks dabbled in things that wereforbidden by the World Government. He was a vicious individual who did not care about the consequences of his actions.
It is unknown what kind of abilities Xebec had, but there are several events that give the audience an idea about his strength. Considering the members of his crew, it would have been impossible for Rocks to keep them under control if he didn’t have the necessary strength. According to Kaido, Rocks was one of the few people who were able to challenge him. Furthermore, Sengoku called Rocks the biggest rival of Gol D. Roger.
