The Revolutionary Army is one of the major factions in theOne Pieceworld who are contesting for power in the Great Age of Pirates. Their aim is to overthrow the Celestial Dragons of the corrupt World Government and fight for those who don’t have a voice and are oppressed. The organization is led by none other than Luffy’s own father,Monkey D. Dragon, also known as “The World’s Worst Criminal.“Over the years, the Revolutionary Army has grown tremendously in strength and now, they are ready to challenge the World Government, as seen when they declared war during this year’s Reverie.

Under him, Dragon has amassed quite a few powerful Commanders each of which worked in one of the seas of theOne Pieceworld. The North Blue is handled by Karasu, the South Blue by Lindbergh, the West Blue by Morley, and the East Blue by Belo Betty. Meanwhile, Ivankov serves as the Commander of the Grand Line Army, whileSabo acts as the Chief of Staff of the group. The Revolutionary Army has a powerful bunch in their ranks, however, how strong are they exactly?
The Fame Of The Revolutionary Army Commanders
The Revolutionary Army Commanders were introduced in chapter 903 ofOne Piece, shortly after the conclusion of the Whole Cake Island arc. Fans only got to see a glimpse of their abilities in the chapter, with Karasu showing off his unnamed Devil Fruit powers that allow him to transform into a murder of crows at will, and Lindbergh showing his scientific inventions. Meanwhile, the leader of the West Blue Army, Morley showed fans a glimpse of his Devil Fruit ability of the Oshi Oshi no Mi which allows him to push the ground as if was malleable, and the East Blue Commander, Belo Betty showing off the powers of the Kobu Kobu no Mi, which allow her to bring out the latent fighting spirit from within people who she rallies with her flag.
Furthermore, shortly after, in the Vivre Cards, fans got to see the bounties of the Commanders of the Revolutionary Army. The lowest bounty goes to Morley, who has a reward of 293 million berries on his head. Following him is Lindbergh with a bounty of 316 million berries on his head. The South Blue Commander is followed by Karasu, who has a 400 million berry bounty on his head and, the highest of all goes to Belo Betty, who has a 457 million berry bounty. Ivankov is likely the strongest of all the Commanders, given that he is the leader of the Grand Line Army. He was also locked in Impel down once, and his current bounty remains unknown.

The Strength Of The Revolutionary Army Commanders
On the surface, the bounties of the Revolutionary Army commanders aren’t that impressive, especially when compared to the stronger forces,such as the Yonkocrews of theOne Pieceworld. However, it must be noted that these figures have been operating in the four blues and, thus, their bounties are quite high for those seas. At the same time, bounties are never an accurate representation of the strength of an individual. The powers of the Revolutionary Army Commanders certainly seem interesting, however, how well their fare against the top tiers of theOne Pieceworld remained unknown until recently.
During the Reverie arc, Sabo led a group that consisted of Morley, Karasu, and Lindbergh, and together, they attacked the Holy Land of Mariejois and declared war on the Celestial Dragons. At the same time, they made it their mission to rescue Kuma from their grasp as well. On the 4th day, they came up against twoNavy Admirals in Fujitora and Ryokugyu.
The clash was quite intense and, surprisingly, the Revolutionary Army emerged victorious and managed to not only burn the flag of the World Government in a declaration of war but also free Bartholomew Kuma. As such, it is quite evident that their strength is nothing to be taken lightly. The Revolutionary Army Commanders are certainly not as strong as the Marine Admirals themselves individually, however, they are capable of putting up a good fight against the Admirals and, when combining forces, even emerging victorious. It must also be noted that the Commanders pulled this feat off without even having Belo Betty and Ivankov with them. with their full forces, they could certainly have taken all three Admirals at once.
Flame Emperor Sabo’s Strength
The strongest of all Commanders of the Revolutionary Army is certainlySabo, the Flame Emperor. He serves as the Commander in Chief of the organization and is second only to Dragon in authority. Sabo had a bounty of 602 million berries on his head until recently, however, after the events of the Reverie, this amount is sure to have skyrocketed. In terms of strength, he has a powerful Logia ability called the Mera Mera no Mi which allows him to control flames at will and even transform into them. At the same time, Sabo is also an extremely high-level user of Haki.
In Dressrosa, he clashed against the Navy Admiral Fujitora and managed to hold his ground against him. During the Reverie arc, he was the leader in the fight against two Admirals in Fujitora and Ryokugyu. Sabo is certainly worthy of taking on an Admiral in combat and even defeating them. As the Flame Emperor, he is worshiped all over the world and his fame is said to be greater than even that of Dragon. WithOne Pieceentering its final saga, the Revolutionary Army will finally come into play and fans will finally get to witness the true power of these fearsome individuals.
