Summary
One Punch Manis finally making a long-awaited comeback after being dormant for a long time. It was a shame that the hype for this series fizzled out with Season 2’s lackluster animation, but fans would prefer that over a lengthy hiatus that leaves them hanging. Even with the third seasonstill a year away, this announcement has excited many fan wholove how beautifulOne Punch Manlooks, with Yusuke Murata’s dedication making each and every panel of the webcomic look downright amazing.
Many heroes are introduced inOne Punch Manaspowerful figures who can easily hold their own in combat. However, this isn’t true every single time, and some heroes don’t deserve their rank at all. Most cities would be safer if they just retired and more competent heroes took over for them instead.

6King
S-Class, Rank 5
Kingis one of the funniest characters inOne Punch Manby a country mile. The unintentional hilarity of this so-called hero as he is given credit for Saitama’s heroic actions over and over again makes for a great punchline that delivers every single time. To make things even funnier, he ends up striking up a friendship with a man who has him put onthe watchlist of the toughest, baddest villains, all of whom want to kill him and see their own stock rise.
While King’s presence justifies Saitama’s actions going unnoticed for the longest time, he should still retire for the sake of his own safety, if nothing else.He can’t rely on Saitama all the time, and it’s always possible for a villain to catch him without protection and send him to an early grave.

5Crying Man
B-Class, Rank 69
A hero namedCrying Mandoesn’t instill a ton of confidence from the get-go, making it easy to see why this hero should just leave this spot vacant for worthier warriors to step up to the plate instead. He’s shown flashes of brilliance, but is dwarfed many times by his own siblings.
The fact that most people consider him too underpowered for his rank is a testament to how weak Crying Man is.He shouldn’t be a B-Class hero at all, and even a respectable C-Class ranking is too generous for a man with such limited potential.

4Mumen Rider
C-Class, Rank 1
If there’s one thing to be praised aboutMumen Rider, it’s the fact that he’s shown a lot of heart inOne Punch Mantime and time again. The sheer number of times he’s thrown caution to the wind and saved other heroes is genuinely impressive, and goes a long way in proving how bravery and heroism play a huge role in becoming an inspiring figure for civilians to count on.
However, sheer heart and determination can’t make up for this hero’s obvious weaknesses. He’s nowhere near strong enough to tacklesome of the tougher monsters around, who could easily end his life if he’s not careful. Life is precious, and there’s no shame in retiring early to secure one’s personal well-being.

3D-Pad
C-Class, Rank 22
It’s only a given that a hero obsessed with video games will choke in the face of real danger, and this is precisely the case withD-Pad. While his heart may be in the right place, there are many times when D-Pad is clearly out of his depth and can’t hack it with other, more skilled heroes both below and above his rank.
This hero should ideally retire before he invites harm upon himself. His intentions are noble, but there’s only so much heroism a man can achieve if his body is being crushed over and over again.

2Red Nose
C-Class, Rank 385
If a hero doesn’t have any bravery to speak of and only cares about himself, then it’s easy to see why they don’t deserve to be ranked among the best. Not only isRed Nosein it for the fame, but he actively runs away from any confrontation that threatens to even slightly harm him.
His rank isn’t impressive in the slightest, so the fact that this cowardly hero already sports an ego that is completely ill-fitting makes it clear why he can never hack it as a true hero. He’s better off sticking to something else where his life isn’t at stake if things go sour.

1Soda Pop Boys
Rank: C-Class
While it may be a technicality to add multiple heroes from one group, there’s no denying that theSoda Pop Boysaren’t capable heroes at all. Out of the seven members of this boy band, only two are heroes who aren’t clearly in it for publicity reasons.
Sticking to their talents instead of becoming a hero for some easy publicity is a better course of action to take. Fighting monsters isn’t an easy task, and the Soda Pop Boys will be torn apart if they attract the attention of a particularly vicious villain.
