While the Dia de Muertos Field Research will provide some amount of entertainment, it is not the only aspect of the event. Indeed, there is also a Dia de Muertos 2022 Collection Challenge, which grants an Alolan Marowak encounter, aPoGOPoffin, and an Incense when completed. Furthermore, a variety of bonuses, such as increased Lure Module and Incense durations, are active for the entirety of the event, and several Pokemon are appearing more frequently in the wild as well.
There are also some new Dia de Muertos masks available in the in-game shop. While not everyone will be interested in spending theirPokemon GOPokeCoinson these avatar items, they are sure to be appealing to some number of players. Notably, these masks will be available beyond the end of the event, which means that fans are not under a great deal of pressure to purchase them now.
One final thing to mention is thatPokemon GO’s November 2022 Community Day Classicis set to occur this Saturday at 2pm local time. This Community Day Classic will spotlight Dratini, and there will be an event-exclusive Special Research story for players to complete.
