Pokemon GO’s Weather Week and March 2024 Events
Weather Week Spotlight Pokemon
Weather Week runs from March 14-18 and puts several Pokemon related to different types of weather in the spotlight, making them appear more frequently during that type of weather. Castform is the obvious star of this event, andall four Castform formswill be available as rewards for different Field Research tasks. Additionally, Weather Week will include Raids that feature additional creatures with increased shiny odds, like Charizard, Drampa, Regice, and even Mega Tyranitar.
March 2024 Community Day
March 2024’s Community Day is Saturday, March 16, and features the Gen 7 starter Litten as the spotlight critter. Like the other events this month,Litten will have an increased chance to be shinyduring Community Day, so players won’t want to miss their chance to catch a fantastic shiny to add to their collections. Players who evolve their Litten all the way up to Incineroar during this event or within five hours after it ends will also have the chance to teach it the special Charged Attack Blast Burn.
Pokemon GO’s Verdant Wonders Event
Verdant Wonders is anotherPokemon GOevent that runs between March 21-25, but it differs from the other events this month in that it requires players to purchase a ticket in order to participate. However, forPokemon GOplayers wanting to complete their Pokedex, a ticket might be worth the purchase since this event features theGen 8 Mythical Zarudefor players who have yet to add it to their collection to obtain. Beyond this info, not much else is known about this event, but the nature of a ticketed event suggests it will feature other special bonuses exclusive to those who purchase a ticket.
Featured Pokemon GO Raids
Pokemon GOis set to feature the return of some popular Legendaries and Mega Evolutions in Raids during the month of March 2024. Along with Mega Sceptile, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Venusaur appearing in Mega Raids, players will have the chance to obtainPrimal Kyogre and Primal Groudonon their featured Raid days this month. To make things even more exciting, more Shadow Legendaries will appear in Raids this month as well, including Shadow Raikou, who has the chance to be shiny, and Shadow Mewtwo.
