Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet - Paldean Fates Overview

PokeBeach is also reporting thatPaldean Fatesexpansion will be released on a staggered schedule, taking place on January 26, February 9, and February 23. Also, as with other special sets, booster packs will not be sold separately. This means fans will have to buy special box sets to see some ofScarlet and Violet’s best shiny Pokemonin card form.

If this expansion is anything like other recentPokemon TCGreleases, fans will want to get their hands on it sooner rather than later. A nostalgic throwback to the original cards in the form of a box set went up for pre-orders earlier this year and quickly sold out. Now, thePokemon TCG Classicset is going for some ridiculous prices online.

Even more recently, a promo card caused quite a commotion at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Those cards also sold out quickly, and fans arePokemonfans are understandably upset with card scalpers. With the card game seeing a resurgence in popularity in recent years, demand for these boosters, box sets, and promo items is high.
