The introduction ofPS Plus' tiered service (Essential, Extra, and Premium) has made for a couple of exciting months on the service. There’s something about the constant influx of games and information that keeps the service in mind much longer, as Sony reveals the Essential games, releases them, reveals the Extra and Premium games, and then releases them. It’s hard to say how thisPS Plustiered service defines the company in the future, but it’s off to a great start.
With thePS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium games for August 2022 available now, many may be curious as to what Sony will add in September. Of course, there’s no predicting the additions, but fans can expect them to be revealed on August 31 nonetheless. In anticipation of that, here are a couple of games we would love to see added to the service.

PS Plus Free (Essential) Games for September 2022 Wish List
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order- EA recently confirmed the franchise’s sequel,Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and it is expected to launch in early 2023. Fans will see a new adventure of Cal Kestis, but putting his first journey on PS Plus could perhaps encourage more fans to check out the sequel. Even for those who have played it but no longer own it, it would be nice to revisit the game. And among theStar Warsgames available thanks to Essential and that are currently on Extra and Premium, none are quite likeJedi Fallen Order.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare- Over the past few years, Sony has added aCall of Dutygame to PS Plus every summer. It’s a bit later than usual, but Sony should add another title this year too. The last one wasBlack Ops 4, making the latest version ofModern Warfarea prime candidate. It would also perfectly complement therelease ofModern Warfare 2in October. Now, it should be mentioned that Sony could perhaps be avoiding this due to Microsoft’s Activision-Blizzard deal, but this is just a wish list after all, and if Sony were to keep up the streak, it should do so before the deal is said and done.

The Pathless- Of course, it’s unlikely that fans get two major AAA titles, but either one would be great to see. At the same time, Sony should leverage the platform to also add great indies. The Pathlesswould be a good pickfor this, as this Annapurna indie (even if that somewhat muddies the definition) is a well-received title, complete with solid features, unique exploration, and more. In this third-person action-adventure game, players take on the role of the Hunter, a master archer seeking to lift the curse from an island.
PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for September 2022 Wish List
The PS Plus Extra and Premium games are slightly harder to decode, simply because there are so many of them. The first PS Plus Extra and Premium drop added 18 games, while the latest dropped 12 games. If there’s one thing that’s definitively on this wish list, though, is hopingSony doesn’t ignore PS Plus Premium’s classics catalog. The last drop was all for PS Plus Extra, and moving forward, that should not be the case. Here are a few hopeful contenders.
