WhileRed Dead Redemption 2doesn’t quite offer the customization options that its online offshootRed Dead Onlinehas, there are plenty of ways to give Arthur Morgan a look that is unique for each user. One Reddit user recently demonstrated that by changing up the appearance of the popularRed Dead Redemption 2protagonist so that he looked like the spitting image of one of the main villains fromWestworld.
Since RedDead Redemption 2launched in 2019, there have been all kinds of differentcreations inRed Dead Online. While the level of customization isn’t anywhere near the same, there have been more than a few people who have spent their time in the single-player mode finding little tweaks here and there that, at times, can even make Arthur unrecognizable. Such is the case for a Reddit user who managed to make the spitting image of Ed Harris' famous Big Bad in the HBO series.

The Redditor vXV_Rabbit_VXv took to the social media site to show off what they had made, showing side-by-side pictures ofThe Man in Black fromWestworldand their version of Arthur Morgan that looked like the character. Both were clad in all dark colors and a big black hat. They also both sported black leather gloves. There were subtle differences between the two, but there was absolutely a resemblance.
For those not familiar with The Man in Black, he’s one of the villains from theWestworld’s first few seasons about a group of incredibly lifelike androids that run amok and turn against the people that made them. While it was eventually revealed that he ran the company that made the androids, he often went into theWestworldsetting as a cowboy dressed all in black who would routinely shoot any of the park’s attractions without any compunction.
Other Reddit users were quick to point out that this version of The Man in Black looked good enough that it could pass forone of the creations inRed Dead Online. Others broke into discussions about the quality ofWestworldinstead, with most claiming the first season was very good, only to see the show get progressively worse. Others decided to focus more on offering up suggestions on how the OP could make this version of Arthur look just a little better.
Still, other Redditors said that vXV_Rabbit_VXv had inspired them to try their own hand at making the perfect character for the game. BecauseRDR2doesn’t offer the same kind of customization, it’s unlikely anyone is going to be able tocreate Freddy Kruegerto haunt their dreams. Still, there are indeed plenty of options to give Arthur some personal flair.
