Red Dead Redemption 2’spassionate fans are quick to point out the minor hiccups in the game otherwise known for its detailedrecreation of the Old West. Reddit user Chungulungus shared their discovery on theRed Dead Redemption 2subreddit. where they showed off an odd interaction with the game’s mirrors. The player had fired their gun within a barber shop and noticed that neither the fire from the gun’s muzzle or the splattering blood appeared within the mirror. The mirror still showed the now-headless barber but all the blood that had sprayed is completely invisible in the reflection.

Users in the post’s comment section were quick to arrive at a variety of conclusions behind the absent particles. Some suggested that ray tracing may be required for the particles to appear in the mirror while others went to successfully re-producing the anomaly on PC. Other users suggested that the lack of blood and fire within the reflections is due to the processing power required for mirrors to double the particles.Minor errors inRed Dead 2like these are still often found today with fans constantly discovering new things about the three-year-old game.
