Red Dead Redemption2’s swamps are a scary place. Not only can the alligators that live there tear Arthur Morgan to shreds, but players can also come in contact with the ghost of Agnes Dowd, an ill-fated woman whose ghostly spirit haunts the swamps of Lemoyne inRed Dead Redemption 2.
Players may catch wind of the ghost of Agnes Dowd before they actually find her, as some NPCs in the game have already seen her while out exploring the swamps at night. Anyone that wants to see the ghost of Agnes Dowd for themselves will want to visit the northwest portion of Bluewater Marsh between 9pm and 3am when there’s foggy weather. Agnes Dowd’s ghost will be shouting, which should help players pinpoint her exact location.

The supernatural encounter with Agnes Dowd can reportedly happen a total of 16 times, and each encounter includes some new dialogue that will help players learn a bit more about her. Here is the exact location on theRed Dead Redemption 2map that players will want to visit if they want to find the ghost of Agnes Dowd:

Agnes Dowd isn’t the only spirit haunting the open world ofRed Dead Redemption 2. Players can also find a ghost train while out exploring, not to mention a number of other terrors. The swamp area itself is home to some other creepy sightings, like theterrifying Night Folk, for example.
As is the case with Agnes Dowd,Red Dead Redemption 2players who aren’t actively looking for the Night Folk will likely stumble upon them by complete accident. Like the ghost, the Night Folk appear in the swamps at night, though they actually pose a physical threat to Arthur’s well-being if he is unlucky enough to cross paths with them.
Besides the ghost of Agnes Dowd, the ghost train, and the Night Folk, there areplenty of other creepy thingshidden in the world ofRed Dead Redemption 2. Perhaps even more spooky easter eggs will be added once Red Dead Online becomes available at some point before the end of this month.
Red Dead Redemption 2is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
