User @Ajay005RB posted a screenshot featuring a news clipping of Wonder Woman on Twitter, asking, “How tf did they take this picture?” The picture in question should look familiar to DC fans - it’s a shot fromWonder Womanwhen Gadot is stepping into no man’s land during the movie. Fans might remember that this scene is set in the middle of a battle in World War I, which leads to @Ajay005RB’s question - how did someone take that picture? While cameras existed in 1917, they weren’t known for their mobility or crisp detail. It seems unlikely that a camera person was waiting above the trenches to capture a shot of the Amazonian hero.
While it’s the most recent critique of the movie, it isn’t the biggest issue fans have had with theShazam!sequel. The movie has a 47% onMetacriticand a 49% onRotten Tomatoes- which doesn’t qualify as “Certified Fresh.” Fan complaints have ranged from the movie’s comedy not landing to the main characters lacking meaningful development. That being said, the audience score for the movie on Rotten Tomatoes is 89%, so while some fans might not have loved it, they’ve overall been much more forgiving than critics.

Unfortunately, with big-budget productions likeGame of ThronesandThe Last of Usseemingly slacking and accidentally including coffee cupsor crew members in shots, fans are always looking for another forgotten Starbucks cup. Whether the production team intended for the picture to be a shortcut or a fun easter egg, it’s at least keeping the movie on people’s lips and people’s minds.
