Assassin’s Creed Valhallais barely two weeks old, having released earlier this month to generally favorable reviews. In our ownreview ofAC Valhalla,we wrote that the general approach of the game was finding “the right balance between the older and newerAssassin’s Creedtitles—an approach the game absolutely nails.” Indeed, many would agree this is the case.
As such, it may be surprising to discover thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais already receiving some solid deals and discounts for Black Friday. Fans of the franchise who waited, or those who were simply on the fence at launch, now have a chance to try the game out while saving a few dollars.

It should be noted that the best discount onAssassin’s Creed Valhallacomes from GameStop’s Black Friday sale, where the game is reduced to $48 off of its standard $59.99 price tag. This is roughly a 20% discount, but it’s far from the only one. Walmart and Amazon also currently have the game discounted to $49.94, which isn’t that much more than the GameStop discount.
Furthermore, the difference in price difference is lessened by the fact that these Walmart and Amazon deals are available now, whereas GameStop’s Black Friday sale goes live tonight, November 25, at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET. This means that, for less than $2, interested consumers can orderAssassin’s Creed Valhallainstead of waiting for tonight. Of course, the difference is so small that if shoppers are looking at other discounts viaGameStop’s Black Friday ad, there’s a lot of reasons to order a few things all at once.
GameStop’s Black Friday ad also includes discounts on a 1-year PS Plus subscription, a 3-month Game Pass subscription (for physical cards only), various HyperX and Razer accessories, and games likeWatch Dogs Legion, Persona 5 Royal, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Star Wars Squadrons,Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and more. Of course, there are a variety of deals available on these games and items elsewhere as well, so consumers are advised to do some searching online before planning out Black Friday purchases. Nonetheless, if only by a little bit, GameStop is the best location to joinEivor inAssassin’s Creed Valhallacheap.
