TheStar Warsuniverse is filled with different species, factions, and groups, all with their own unique motivations and rich backstories that have been fleshed over four decades of material. By far one of the most popular groups inStar Warsis the Bounty Hunter’s Guild, a rag-tag group of mercenaries that earn their living by executing those with a price on their heads. With the brutal nature of the job, much of the Bounty Hunter’s Guild is filled with scum and villainy, but there are a few individuals who have captured the hearts of fans, which they’d then likelyput in Carbonitefor safekeeping.
While theStar Warsmovies and TV shows have their fair share of lovable bounty hunters, withThe Mandalorian’s Din DjarinandThe Clone Wars' Cad Bane being particular stand-outs, it’sStar Wars' back catalog of video games that actually hold some of the most talented and powerful bounty hunters in the galaxy. From the early days of the Old Republic, to the final days of the Empire, here are some of the strongest bounty hunters inStar Warsvideo games.

The Old Republic’s Bounty Hunters
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republicis one of the most beloved, critically-acclaimed games of all time, let alone one of the bestStar Warstitles ever made. One of the biggest reasons behind its acclaim is the game’s willingness to throw memorable character after memorable character at the player, even if they only have a few minutes of screen-time. Bendak Starkiller is one such character.
Born on the mining colony of Vanquo, Bendak Starkiller was hard at work underground when the Mandalorians invaded. With just a few hours of preparation, Bendak was able to set up an effective defense against the invading force, but the Mandalorians proved too strong. Rather than kill the young man,the Mandalorians recruited him, seeing his military potential. An incredibly fast-learner, Bendak quickly climbed the Mandalorian ranks, and it wasn’t long before they rewarded his efforts with his very own set of golden Mandalorian armor.

Following the Mandalorian defeat at Malachor V, in which Revan and the Republic forces wiped out most of their fleet, Bendak was left without a home once again, and turned to bounty hunting as a means to survive. For a few years, Bendak Starkiller lived as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, but when a job went south, Bendak was forced to retire, eventually ending up inthe Taris dueling pits, where he stayed until the planet’s destruction at the hands of Darth Malak.
A few centuries later, and the Sith Empire has returned from the brink of extinction, and is now in full force, lead by Darth Malgus. Though the Sith Empire has great numbers, it still requires a hand from time to time.Star Wars: The Old Republic’s bounty hunter classmay not be one of a kind, but it’s one of the most capable hunters in all ofStar Warsmedia. Once fully leveled, the Bounty Hunter class is equipped with blasters, rockets, missiles, flamethrowers, poison darts, martial arts, thermal detonators, and just about any other weaponry a mercenary could get their hands on.
Jango Fett in Video Games
Although he’s more well-known forhis appearance inStar Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, Jango Fett is one of strongest bounty hunters inStar Warscanon, and he’s the star of his very own video game. While Jango doesn’t have too much play in the mainlineStar Warsseries, he gets plenty of time to shine inStar Wars: Bounty Hunter, a 2002 PS2 game. Taking place a decade beforeAttack of the Clones,Bounty Hunterputs players in Jango’s Mandalorian boots as he hunts down a Dark Jedi named Vosa for Count Dooku.
IfAttack of the Cloneswasn’t enough to convince fans that Jango Fett was an incredibly skilled bounty hunter, thenStar Wars: Bounty Huntercertainly will. Dual blaster pistols, a jetpack, wrist-mounted rockets, a flamethrower, and the ability to scan targets and access the galactic database on the go, Jango Fett is a fully-equipped, fully-capable bounty hunter, whose talents are recognized by Dooku himself, who believes his strength is good enough to base the Clone army off of.
