TheUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionwas announced a few months back without a formal release date. However, a new rating from the Australian Classification Board (ACB) may provide a clue for when thisUnchartedcollection will be dropping.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionwas revealed at September’s PlayStation Showcase 2021, with the game featuring remasters ofUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandUncharted: Lost Legacy. Both titles were released during the PS4 era, and to many fans' dismay, never received PS5 updates as plenty of other games had. Unfortunately, the bundle was not a completely surprise announcement as anUnchartedcollection appeared onlinea couple weeks before the Showcase. In the announcement trailer, the collection was slated for an early 2022 release, with Naughty Dog handling the PS5 port, and Iron Galaxy managing the PC port.

The ACB has given a rating forUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, potentially meaning the bundle’s release date is closer than expected. Spotted by Alyssa Mercante of GamesRadar+, this rating would placeUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionrelease somewhere on the back end of February or the early side of March, if going by ACB’s other rating dates. In Mercante’s article, she usesElden Ringas her basis; the ACB rated it on October 13, andElden Ringis now shippingon June 16, 2025, meaning a four month or so differential. While this falls in line with the original “early 2022” release window, it potentially gives a better idea of when players can expect the game.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionmarks the first Naughty Dog games that will be playable on PC. PlayStation has recently been pushing into the PC market, also announcingGod of War(2018) for PC next year, joining a handful of otherPlayStation PC ports. As mentioned, Naughty Dog won’t be directly working on the PC version of the collection, but it will be interesting nonetheless seeing Nathan Drake’s adventures unfold with the possibilities of the PC. This opens the door potentially for other Naughty Dog titles to come to PC as well.
Considering PlayStation announcedGod of War’s PC port on a random morning without notice, more information about theLegacy of Thieves Collectioncould come at any time. Naughty Dog may very well be done with theUnchartedfranchise, butNathan Drake’s presence in a new UEFA Champions League ad, as well as the upcomingUnchartedmovie, have been keeping the character in circulation. To that end, PlayStation seems still pretty invested in the world ofUnchartedand the character of Nathan Drake, even though Naughty Dog may no longer be.
