Ubisoft releases details regarding the next patch for its open world titleWatch Dogs 2, revealing post-launch bug fixes, but not for the game’s multiplayer.

As many gaming fans will likely recall,Ubisoft had to disable the seamless multiplayerofWatch Dogs2one day before the hacker-themed game’s official release due to the feature being broken. Obviously, a lot of players were disappointed by the feature being absent at launch, which prompted the developer to issue a statement on the matter thatpromised fans should expect a fix ‘soon.’

Now, Ubisoft has released the details regarding the next patch forWatch Dogs 2, which is currently in the works. However, while the forthcoming Update 1.04 will be providing some needed post-launch bug fixes for the game, the developer revealed it won’t be addressing any of the issues related to the title’s current multiplayer woes.

“Overnight, we are pushing Title Update 1.04 to the live environment to fix a few known issues that have been identified since launch. This patch does not include a fix to the seamless online issue that we are currently focusing on; more info will be available on that soon.”

Although the impending patch forWatch Dogs 2will tackle frustrating performance problems such as a bug low frame rates occurring onPlayStation 4 Pro, the fact that the game’s seamless multiplayer experience remains broken a few days after launch will more than likely continue to discourage fans.
